Up at the crack of 9:00… out the door and off to Timmy’s for Greg’s morning victuals.
Greg tips over in the Timmy’s parking lot on the way out. We stop for pictures at mile “0” of the Alaska Highway and take off on what becomes our biggest distance day.
We run through some strong rain for a few hours 2wice during the day… Bikes have 1 liter of fuel left when we pull into Fort Nelson, too close for comfort…we have a “high speed” run to Watson Lake
We stop for pictures with 2 playful bears at the side of the road..
Kill a ton of Red Bull and even more bugs. The day ends with 2 powerfully tired riders looking for a room in a fully booked Whitehorse
